Greenline FoundatioN

who we are

Greenline Foundation enhances vacant lots on Kansas City’s Eastside. We renovate the lots with community input to give back the land to its residents. These once vacant lots are repurposed into art spaces, healing spaces, and educational spaces.

Our spaces are intentionally designed to increase environmental equity in local communities that have been historically and currently excluded.

These new opportunities to engage with nature in one's own backyard will contribute to an increased quality of life as well as the elimination of blight.

The quality of life in underserved communities is often not given consideration.

From overgrown lots to under resourced parks and greenspaces the residents of Kansas City’s Eastside have very few options to enjoy and engage with the outdoors.

These community projects and other additions will give children safer play spaces, parents fresh fruits, herbs, and vegetables, and the community will enjoy outdoor meeting spaces and artist installations.

social Impact commitment

Revitalize Greenspaces

We maximize our impact by focusing our efforts on forgotten and underutilized spaces, which means your donations and purchases go straight to helping our local communities and neighborhoods.

Hyper-local

We work with and source local talent and landscapers from the surrounding area to complete our renovation projects, so the local business scene can benefit from our collective efforts.

we stay People first always

We do not profit from or monitize the use of the lots we work on, instead our promise is to keep our community greenspaces free for the residents of that area to partake of and participate in, because nature should be free.
